School Psychologist
At Campbell Primary School, we have access to the centralised School Psychology Service. This means that if a student is experiencing academic, social, emotional or behavioural difficulties that influence their outcomes at school a referral to a School Psychologist can be made. Teachers may identify a concern and recommend a referral be made to the School Psychology Service, or parents can make a request to engage with the service. If concerns arise, families are asked to arrange a meeting with the child’s classroom teacher to discuss the most appropriate next steps in accessing support. Following this, the Deputy Principal will make a referral to the School Psychology Service and in time, a School Psychologist will make contact with the family.
